Fire Warden's Awareness Course
Program Purpose
Fire awareness training and evacuation specifically designed for personnel who have (or will have) the responsibility of acting as fire/ evacuation wardens in the work place.
Teaching & Learning Strategies
The fire awareness training course is a theory course; practical training is not conducted unless the participants have not completed the First Aid Firefighting Appliances in the Workplace Course.

Hazardous Material Handling
Program Purpose
This hazardous material training course is designed to give trainees competent knowledge and skills in the identifying, handling, storing and transporting hazardous substances. Containment of hazardous substances during spillage and leakage and First Aid during such emergencies are also covered.
The trainees learn the nine (9) UN Hazard Classifications and the relevance of such classifications to packaging, storage and transportation. The course ends with trainees learning how to develop, implement and maintain a Hazardous Substance Control System in the workplace.

Manual Handling Course
Program Purpose
This manual handling training course is designed to equip trainees with knowledge and skills in safe methods of manual handling in various commonly encountered industrial situations. The focus is on skills/task analysis. Since back pain has been identified widely as one of the most common ailment in the workplace, secondly only to cold and flu, trainees learn how to use proper manual handling techniques.

Program Purpose
This course is the last part of the three stage Workplace Health and Safety Officer training designed to give trainees a higher level of understanding of the administration and management principles and practices in Workplace Health and Safety.
This is a full-time residential program for current and prospective Health and Safety Professionals. Activities will be conducted throughout the day and into the evenings. A report on each participant will be provided to his or her employer as part of the assessment.
